This page explains, in plain language, how Instagram Story Viewer handles data.
What we collect
You can use Instagram Story Viewer without an account. We do not ask for your name, your Instagram login, or your password. When you enter a public username, it is processed on demand to fetch publicly available content and is not tied to a personal profile of you.
What we don’t do
We never request Instagram credentials, we don’t access private accounts, and we don’t build a browsing history linked to you. Previews are generated on demand and are not kept after you leave the page.
Logs and analytics
Like most websites, our servers may record basic technical logs (such as IP address and request time) for security and reliability. If analytics are used, they are limited to aggregate, non-identifying usage and are not shared across other sites.
Cookies
We use only the cookies/local storage needed for the site to function (for example, remembering your light/dark theme preference). We do not use them to track you across other websites.
Public data and GDPR
This tool surfaces content that is already public on Instagram. Public web pages can still contain personal data protected under laws such as the GDPR. If you believe content shown here should be removed, contact us and we will review takedown requests.
